Peter Savage has a history of strokes, and his wife Lee lives with a physical disability. After returning home from hospital after a 14 week stay, Peter collapsed. Our in-home alarms connect to your existing telephone line and can work with a range of sensors for added safety around the home – ranging from smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors to flood and temperature sensors. Alerts are automatically sent to our team if anything looks out of the ordinary. Peace of mind form our in-home alarms start from as little as £3.44 a week.
We also offer a range of GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) enabled devices for support away from the home. When help is needed, not only can we speak with you, but we can find where you are and arrange assistance. Our GPS devices also feature geofencing. A geofence is a personalised safe zone which we can set up to automatically trigger an alarm call to our team.This is especially useful for people who are showing signs of forgetfulness, become easily confused or are living with dementia. The safe zone could be set to include a normal everyday route - for example to the shops. The geofence would be set up around it and if the wearer takes a wrong turn, an alert will be sent to our telecare monitoring centre.
